New York Jets Week 6 Position Report Card
By Nolan Rich
What a pickup Jeremy Kerley has been for the New York Jets. Not only has he solidified special teams, but he has been a reliable target in the passing game. Kerley hauled in an incredible catch near the goal line in the first quarter and then scored a 31-yard touchdown in the second, finishing the day with 61 yards.
Jermaine Kearse rebounded with four catches for a team-high 79 yards with Robby Anderson also pulling in another four catches for 76 yards.
Coming into the season, the receivers were viewed as one of the team’s weakest units. However, the additions of Kerley and Kearse have not only made this group one of the team’s best, but also one of their most consistent performers week in and week out.
