Here are three keys to victory for the New York Jets over the New England Patriots.

The New York Jets are in a position that we never thought they would be. Can you believe that they have a share of the AFC East lead right now? I know it has only been five games but nobody thought they would EVER be in this type of spot. Depending upon the result of the Bills game, if the Jets win this one they could be leading the AFC East.

Don’t forget that Tom Brady also has an injury to his non-throwing shoulder. He isn’t worried about missing time, but any time someone is injured it has the potential to impact their play. Brady will play on Sunday but he has been hit a lot. He can be gotten to, as the offensive line has not been what it was. The Jets have been able to get in Brady’s face before. If he is slowed by an injury it just might be easier to get that done.

The biggest surprise has been the Jets offense. A juggernaut it has not been, but it has made enough plays to get the job done. Frankly it looked stuck in mud during the first half of the Browns game last week. In the second half, however, they took advantage of a short field and made the necessary plays to win the ball game. They also never look like they quit, which we cannot say in the recent past.

With the top scoring offense in all of football the Patriots are going to be tough to beat. As bad as they have been on defense, that’s how good they have been on offense. It won’t be easy. However, it is doable. Let’s get into the three keys.
