New York Jets Week 4 Position Report Card

Once again Demario Davis led the Jets in tackles, but the linebackers also had a mixed bag against the Jaguars. The team as a whole continued to struggle in stopping the run and while the linebackers did contain the passing game in the middle of the field, they did struggle in stopping the backs out of the backfield.
Jacksonville’s lone touchdown was a reception by Leonard Fournette and the rookie running back led the Jaguars with 59 yards receiving. This could be concerning if the Jets play a team that utilizes the screen game or has a back that can catch as the season progresses.
The lack of pass rush and not being able to contain Jacksonville’s running backs is why the linebackers earned their grade for Sunday.
