New York Jets Week 4 Position Report Card
By Nolan Rich
The Jets receivers were limited by one of the best secondaries in the NFL. Jermaine Kearse was limited to four catches and 17 yards as he was shadowed all day by one of the league’s top corners in Jalen Ramsey. Still the unit was able to help out McCown with Jeremy Kerley hauling in a team high five receptions for 37 yards.
Robby Anderson once again showed his ability to stretch the field catching a 41 yard bomb from McCown and finishing with a team high 59 yards. He’ll need to make big plays and can’t be someone relied on to make multiple catches and instead try to have one big play a game.
With the run game being the focal point of the offense and going against a talented secondary the game plan didn’t call on the Jets receivers to do much. However, when they were called upon they came through.
