Offensive Line. B. . .

Sue who? The New York offensive line had a true test against Miami’s talented defensive line featuring Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake. For their part the offensive line had a great day in pass protection only surrendering two sacks and limiting the pressure of Josh McCown.

The difference was clear as McCown looked comfortable in the pocket and had plenty of time unlike last week in Oakland where he was running for his life. What made this even more impressive was the Jets had to face the Dolphins without guard Brian Winters.

In his place Dakota Dozier played a stellar game and showed the Jets that he could be a potential offensive line project or at the very least a valuable backup that can be relied upon.

While the pass protection was very good, the Jets did struggle in the run game. While this can be attributed to the inconsistency of the backs, it’s the line’s job to create running space. A solid day all around, but this unit needs to get a better push when they are running the football.
