All of the information you need to tune into the New York Jets battle with the Oakland Raiders.
A tank, or not a tank? That is the question that New York Jets fans will continue to wrestle with as the season rolls along. For now, we move into week two as Josh McCown and company head out west to take on Marshawn Lynch and the rest of the Oakland Raiders. Last week, the Raiders topped Marcus Mariota and the Titans while the Jets took the first step toward the quarterback of their dreams with a loss in Buffalo.
The Jets enter this one as quite the underdog, and with good reason. Some question if this one even has a chance to be close. With all of those weapons on offense, Todd Bowles defense is certainly going to be put to the test. The coach called the defensive line out after their poor performance last week, and they are going to need to step things up to take down Derek Carr and Marshawn Lynch. “Beast mode” looked like he hadn’t missed a beat last week, rushing for 76 yards on 18 carries.
Should the Jets have a short leash on McCown this week? Michael Pallas of the Jet Press seems to think so. He is right when he talks about the fact that McCown is going to have to take chances if the Jets are going to have any shot in this one. Will they make a quick change? I’m not so sure. It would be to Bryce Petty if they do it at all, and watching Todd Bowles coach I think he will stick with McCown until he absolutely can’t any longer. We shall see.
So, for those of us not in Oakland for this one, here are all the options to catch the game:
