Here are three keys to victory for the New York Jets against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

There isn’t a lot expected of the New York Jets as they open the 2017 season. They are in the middle of the largest scale rebuild we have seen in quite some time. The 53 man roster has more rookies than veterans on it, and there are only three players over the age of 30 left. That’s not to say that the rookies aren’t talented, it’s just that we haven’t seen them play under the lights of the regular season. Some believe the Jets won’t win a game, and the highest prediction I have seen is a 5-11 record.

But the truth is that we just don’t know what is going to happen. They say “any given Sunday” for a reason. A bouncing ball here, a break there, some tough defense and all of a sudden the Jets are in football games. Is this a playoff prediction? Of course not. Keeping credibility is still of basic importance. The Jets will be more competitive than many people think.

Here is another fact. The Jets open the season with a winnable game, even on the road. It’s not as if the Bills have set the world on fire. The quarterback will either by Tyrod Taylor or Nathan Peterman, a rookie. Sammy Watkins is no longer there.

According to Buffalo Rumblings, Taylor and T.J. Yates practiced on Monday.

The Buffalo Bills are a team that is flawed, similarly to the Jets. It should make for a good one when this thing kicks off on Sunday in upstate New York.
