Letting Jeff Hornacek take Full Control of the Offense

Coach Hornacek sat in the back seat over the past season so Jackson could experiment more with his failed triangle offense.

It was obvious that this scheme couldn’t work from the start. The Knicks do not have enough star talent to execute the triangle.

Once Jackson and the Knicks parted ways, Hornacek moved into the driver seat.

Hornacek was forced to run a system he had no desire to run.

During the three seasons Hornacek spent in Phoenix, there were some hardships with two seasons under .500.

Hornacek transformed the Suns during the 2013-14 season. With his high tempo style offense, Hornacek turned a 25-win team into 48 wins with limited talent.

With the Knicks heading in the direction pointed at their young core and with Hornacek on board to run his style of offense, only good times ahead.
