New York Knicks: What fans in New York have to look forward to next season.

In the 71-year history of this franchise, this past season may be the most embarrassing one yet for the New York Knicks.

Anything that could have went wrong, did go wrong.

The majority of their issues surrounded ex-president, Phil Jackson. When Jackson joined the Knicks in 2014, it was a celebration.

The celebrating ended once he signed the $60 million dotted line.

Jackson is now considered if not the worst, one of the worst executives in sports history after his time spent in New York.

The burning bus he was driving finally ended a month ago after the Knicks announced they would part ways with Jackson.

Jackson ruined many relationships he once had in New York. Carmelo Anthony was terrorized by the media all season due to Jackson’s careless words.

What really ended Jackson’s time with the Knicks was his comments about trading away a franchise cornerstone like Kristaps Porzigis. This was after years of Jackson insisting on how “untouchable” Porzingis is.

On top of all of this, guys like Brandon Jennings asked to be waived halfway through the season.

The signing of Joakim Noah will continue to be a black cloud over our heads until 2020. This past year has shown that Noah’s contract is now looking like the worst signing in the history of the Knicks.

Who could forget the Charles Oakley beef between James Dolan and all of Madison Square Garden?

Most importantly, the coaching staff was forced to run an offense that clearly could not fit with this group.

This season may have left a sour taste in the mouths of all Knicks fans but there is still much to look forward to next season.
