New York Giants: Eight signed to practice squad, ninth coming Monday
The New York Giants have named eight players to their practice squad, with a ninth coming.
It’s this time of the year where the teams start putting together their practice squads. The New York Giants are no different. The group is an important part of the team. They not only supplement the 53 man roster when necessary, they also provide necessary bodies during practice to serve as the opponent. Everyone has a role to play, and the PS plays an important one.
The Giants have announced eight players signed to this year’s group. Here they are:
- Adam Bisnowaty, OL
- Jordan Williams, DE
- Marquis Bundy, WR

According to Ralph Vacchiano, Travis Rudolph will be signed on Monday to the squad, making him number nine.
Fans will be happy about the return of Rudolph, as many thought that he deserved a spot on the 53 man roster. Rudolph did lead the team in the preseason with 157 receiving yards on nine catches. His 17.4 yards per catch led the team as well, though he didn’t score a touchdown.
To see him back is a nice “feel good” story. Rudolph unfortunately lost his father just a few days before the 2017 draft. A gun discharged accidentally and shot Mr. Rudolph in the neck. Needless to say it hasn’t been an easy few months for him. Seeing him return is a nice thing, and based on his performance well deserved.
