In the final game of the series, the Yankees will take on a man with a 15-6 record and a 2.77 ERA, Chris Sale. Sale has taken the bump against New York four times this season and he has not walked away with a win in any of those games.

Sale has dominated just about everyone in his path this season except for the Yankees. In the four games he has faced the Yankees, he has let up seven earned runs and has an 0-2 record.

If Sale can somehow manage to go out there and pitch like he did Tuesday night against the Blue Jays, the Yankees are going to have a very tough game. Against Toronto, Sale pitched seven innings, let up three hits, and did not let up a single run. The Red Sox won that game 3-0 and Sale showed why he is the front-runner for the AL Cy Young.

The Yankees, in return, will be sending their ace Luis Severino to the mound to finish up the series. Severino is having a very good year with an 11-6 record and a 3.14 ERA, and he has a 1-1 record against Boston this year.

Severino has pitched against the Sox three times this season, winning one of them, losing one of them, and getting a no-decision in the third. In those three games, Sevy has let up nine earned runs, eight of which came in one game.

If Severino can manage not to pitch like he did in his last outing against the Sox, the Yankees should be able to edge out Boston in the final game of the series.

Sunday Night Prediction: Red Sox win 3-2
