The Buffalo Bills have not made the NFL Playoffs since the 1999 season. They currently have the longest playoff drought in North American sports. Until the Bills kick off the season on September 10th, let’s cover some of the best and worst things about the Bills during the drought. We’ll continue our weekly series with the top “curses” looming over the Bills during the last 17 seasons.

The Bills have failed to qualify for post season football for pretty much two decades. Aside form bad teams and a plethora of bad personnel decisions, Bills fans everywhere think the “football gods” just hate Western New York’s team.

There are people who are superstitious, and fans who just do not believe “curses”.

But when comes a significantly long trend of losing, it raises certain things, certain coincidences, and common threads of those losing teams.

As far as the Bills, we have noticed four main common things amongst each of the 17 losing teams.
