OT Connor Williams, Texas

Now onto Connor Williams! If McGlinchey is the number one ranked tackle, then Williams is 1b.

Like McGlinchey, Williams has the size to be an NFL tackle as he stands at six-foot-six and weighs in at 320 pounds.

Williams became the starting left tackle at Texas as a true freshman, which says it all about the guy. Not to mention, a year later, he was named a consensus All-American.

Now going into his junior season, Williams was named as a preseason All-American and All-Big 12 team member. If that’s not enough accolades for ya, Williams was also named to the All-Academic team in 2015 and 2016.

Awards and film speak for themselves. He’s a smart kid with incredible football talent. What makes Williams such an appetizing player to NFL scouts is his ability to make a difference in both the running and passing game.

He has the strength to just blow through defenders and create huge running lanes. He is also great at creating angles to the defenders, ensuring a clear running path.

In the passing game, he’s no slouch either. He has the athleticism to hang with top-tier pass rushers and the smarts to know how to combat swim, spin, and bull rush moves.

As long as Williams continues to play at a high level, and avoid any injury, he is primed to be a first round pick and a franchise left tackle.
