As we inch closer to the start of the NFL regular season, we break down each position on the New York Giants roster. Big Blue’s linebacking corps isn’t filled with big names but will look to follow up a solid 2016 season.

The New York Giants have been looking for a consistent presence at middle linebacker since the days of Antonio Pierce. From Chase Blackburn to Jon Beason to Jasper Brinkley, Big Blue’s middle linebacker spot has been a revolving door.

Outside linebacker has also been unimpressive over the past few years, although their OLB play has improved of late.

Despite their lack of big names at linebacker last year, the Giants did a nice job of rotating guys in and got the most out of the group.

New York has ten linebackers on their roster currently and will likely head into the regular season with six of them.

We’ll take a look at each LB and predict which ones will make the final 53-man roster.
