The Buffalo Bills wrapped up Week 2 of the Pre-Season with a trip to Philadelphia on Thursday. Here is our quick recap of what you might have missed.

The Eagles defeated the Bills by a score of 20-16 in week two of the Preseason.

The Bills wrapped up training camp in Rochester before the game.

The only significant Bills players who was not dressed, or out with an injury, was the newly

acquired WR Jordan Matthews. He remains Week to Week with a chest injury.

OT Cordy Glenn is the other as he continues to battle a nagging foot injury.

The first team unit saw a decent amount of playing time, but as usual, did not expose themselves too much.

Tyrod Taylor had Bills Mafia shaking their heads as he did not seem to have his in the game. He was missing throws he probably should not miss.

Tyrod threw two interceptions. It could be argued they were not his fault though, one even coming off a deflection.

LeSean McCoy, making another return to Philly as the opposition, obviously looks fantastic. He continued to by far and away be the best player on the entire roster.

Rookie Zay Jones continues to give Bills fans hope. He grabbed three passes for 42 yards.

One newly acquired Bill did not play, however, the other one, EJ Gaines, did. He was with the second and third units. In the third quarter he intercepted a pass on his first game with the team.

Also at corner, rookie Tre’davious White continues to acclimate to the Bills’ system. He is on slate to start the entire year.

Rookie QB Nathan Peterman dazzled in some spots as he worked ever so closer to the back up job.

TJ  Yates threw the Bills’ lone TD pass in the 4th quarter to Brandon Riley, who did nothing but help himself. Yates also threw one INT.

The biggest struggle for the Bills was their penalties. Coach McDermott was livid with his team after the game. The Bills somehow and inexcusably racked up 15 penalties for 131 yards.

The team must fix that by September or they are in big trouble.

The Bills threw three interceptions and lost a fumble.

Off season acquisition Steven Hauschka booted 3 good field goals, but that along with the TD, was not enough to hold off the Eagles.

Eagles scored a TD late in 4th, then the ill timed Yates interception even later in the game sealed the Bills’ fate.

The next game on tap for the Bills is an always important third Pre-Season game down in Baltimore to face the Ravens on August 26th.
