New York Giants 2017 Roster Preview: Defensive Linemen
By Sean Dyer
Final Depth Chart
The New York Giants defensive line is loaded with talent at both DE and DT.
If Big Blue is going to live up to their Super Bowl contender hype, they’ll need to get after the passer.
Olivier Vernon and Jason Pierre-Paul form one of the best defensive end duos in the NFL and Damon “Snacks” Harrison is arguably the best run stuffing defensive tackle in the league.
The Giants will have to replace Johnathan Hankins but they have a few options to do that with.
There’s just too much talent in Big Blue’s defensive end group to keep just five. Devin Taylor’s been impressive thus far and forces the Giants to keep six DEs.
The defensive line will be a strength for New York in 2017 and they should have one of the best DL groups in the NFL.
Tomorrow, we’ll take a look at the linebacking corps that will line up behind the Giants talented defensive line.
