The Subway Series is in it’s third game, and we give a live nine-inning analysis of the whole thing! Will the Mets or Yankees come out on top tonight?

First Inning

The Subway Series kicked off game three in Flushing Queens tonight.

The Yankees went down rather quietly in the top of the first. After Jacoby Ellsbury singled to lead of the game, he was followed by some shoddy at-bats.

Aaron Hicks flied out to right to kick things off.

Then Ellsbury stole second, but Aaron Judge continues his struggles as he grounded out to pitcher Robert Gsellman.

Didi Gregorious would then hit a lazy pop up to end the inning.

The Mets come out firing in the bottom half.

Lead off hitter Juan Lagares knocked a double after a long at-bat, and Asdrubal Cabrera would move him over with a grounder to the right side.

Yoenis Cespedes would hit a deep fly ball good enough to merit a sacrifice fly RBI.

Mets take the lead 1-0.

Michael Conforto would end the inning on a strikeout courtesy of Yankees starter Jaime Garcia.
