Final Depth Chart

It’s amazing how little the New York Jets got out of their tight ends in 2016. On the bright side, there’s nowhere to go but up in 2017.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins’ suspension will allow the Jets to hold on to four tight ends to start the season with Chris Gragg likely being the odd man out once ASJ returns.

New York should be excited about the potential of rookie Jordan Leggett as well as what a sober Austin Seferian-Jenkins can do.

He may not receive the hype, but Eric Tomlinson’s blocking ability will be key to the Jets success in the running game and keeping their young quarterbacks upright.

The New York Jets have a solid group of tight ends to move forward with after getting nothing from the position last season.

2017 NYJ Tight End Depth Chart Prediction

  1. Austin Seferian-Jenkins (Suspended first two games)
  2. Jordan Leggett
  3. Eric Tomlinson
  4. Chris Gragg (Released Week 3 after ASJ returns)
