New York Jets 2017 Roster Preview: Running Backs
By Sean Dyer
Elijah McGuire
Elijah McGuire was drafted in the sixth round this year by the New York Jets after a great career at Louisiana-Lafayette.
McGuire finished his four-year career with three straight 1,000+ rushing yard seasons and 52 total touchdowns.
With 130 college career receptions, McGuire has a future as a receiving back in the NFL.
Elijah McGuire was listed as the third running back on the New York Jets first unofficial depth chart and can be expected to make the Jets roster.
With Forte, Powell, and McGuire as the top three RBs, Gang Green’s quarterbacks will have plenty of check down options.
