The New York Jets season is right around the corner, so we’re breaking down each position on their roster. With an unsettled quarterback situation, Gang Green’s running backs will play a crucial role in the offense.

The New York Jets could be in for a difficult 2017 campaign where they are looking for their answer at quarterback. One thing that could be consistent is their running game.

New York returns veterans Matt Forte and Bilal Powell to their backfield along with a group of younger backs trying to fill out the depth chart.

Gang Green will need its group of running backs to take pressure off its young QBs as they adjust to the NFL.
