As we inch closer to the start of the NFL regular season, we break down each position on the New York Giants roster. Let’s take a look at the group of running backs who are going to try to upgrade last year’s 29th ranked rushing offense.

The New York Giants roster has six running backs and two fullbacks on it. Big Blue will likely keep four running backs and may or may not keep one fullback.

The Gmen went without a fullback in 2016 after losing Will Johnson for the season to a preseason injury. However, after their fullback-less running attack finished just 29th in the NFL last year, New York may consider adding someone who can block this season.

We’ll take a look at each RB and predict which ones will make the final 53-man roster.
