New York Giants: Top Five Players in need of a Big Preseason
Number One- Roger Lewis, WR
Oh boy… what can I say about Roger Lewis?
I was pretty high on this guy coming out of college. He was a record setter at Bowling Green, but his off the field issues were a glaring problem.
I thought Lew is would clean up his act this year, but he had a driving while impaired charge thrust against him.
He’s since seen the charge dismissed, but it just adds to his mystery.
Lewis is at the most competitive position on the New York Giants. There are two spots gone right from the start, and Lewis should be fighting for the third with Dwayne Harris.
With Harris, the Giants know exactly what they are getting.
Lewis is going to have to prove that he is worth the risk by showing up big this preseason. He has always been a talented player, but now he really has to show it.
Next: Cowboys should be worried about the Giants
He has deep ball speed, and great hands, as well as the ability to jump out of the stadium. The second year wide out is going to have to destroy some defenses this preseason.
Lewis is a great talent, but if he can’t clean up his act and show up, he might be out of a job very soon.
