New York Mets: Players to Watch in the Second Half

The ace of the starting rotation so far has been “Jake”.

Not only is deGrom one of the best pitchers in the NL this year, he is one of the best pitchers in all of baseball.

deGrom is the only Met in the rotation who has not battled nagging or serious injuries all season. This in itself proves to be valuable.

An odd two start stretch in the first half of the season versus the Brewers and Rangers proves to be his only hiccup of the year thus far.

Jacob deGrom has done this before. Mets fan should know they can count on him for quality starts the rest of the year.
