Final Thoughts

The New York Giants have a plethora of options at the running back spot heading into this season.

The biggest thing about it, is that each of the above players have a legitimate chance of starting at any point this season. I pretty much have written off Darkwa, but even he could find the field if a few injuries ensue.

It’s the first time in a while that I’m not entirely worried about the New York Giants running back situation.

Bouncing off of that, it does hold a big question mark with such a lack of experience. The player with the most experience is Shane Vereen, and he only played five games last season.

Outside of the experience issue, the New York Giants don’t have much to worry about with their runners.

They possess a ton of raw talent, and with the right coaching, the Giants are going to have one of the better backfields in a few years.

This season belongs to Paul Perkins, and I’m excited to see what he does with the starting spot. Add Wayne Gallman to he recipe, and sprinkle in some Shane Vereen, and the Giants have a world of possibilities heading into 2017.
