2016.

Vereen’s curb appeal to the New York Giants is his ability to play out of the shotgun. He’s a talented pass catcher, and he runs the draw as good as anyone in the league. There is just one problem.

He’s getting old.

Father Time continues to win every battle he faces. People forget, Father Time is undefeated, and that’s a fact.

No one can be that man, and Vereen is no exception.  He is in dire need to find some health and some youth, but with the edition of Wayne Gallman, it looks like Vereen’s career is dwindling down.

We all know the talent Vereen possesses, and he could be a real leader to the youthful Giants backfield. He won’t get much time, but he can help the young guns grow.

Vereen is going to be the third wheel of the Giants backfield, and I think that’s in his best interest.
