2017 has not been kind to the New York Metropolitans. Plagued by injuries that have decimated both their rotation and lineup, the reality is that the Mets will be sellers at this year’s trade deadline.

After a rough first half of the season, the Mets will not be participating in the postseason for the third consecutive year.

These free-agents-to-be include Jay Bruce, Lucas Duda, Neil Walker, Curtis Granderson, and Addison Reed.

Here are five prospects that the Mets should target at the 2017 trade deadline.
