The New York Knicks are looking for a new President, and Kentucky Head Coach John Calipari should be high on the big board.

The New York Knicks are looking for a new President, and a big rumor circulated yesterday about a big name that could hit the Big Apple.

According to sources, John Calipari contacted the Knicks about the job opening. That’s right, Kentucky Head Coach John Calipari.

Calipari has since denied calling the Knicks, but it raises a front office idea. Should the Knicks try and go after him?

Every basketball fan knows Calipari has a winning pedigree, and that is what the New York Knicks need. They need a winner, and they need one now.

The last time Calipari was in the NBA, it was not pretty.

After three years as the head coach of the New Jersey Nets, he amassed an abysmal 72-112 record. The only thing is, Calipari is now older, wiser, and he would be a great front office presence.

The man could sell ice to an Eskimo. He would bring a totally different culture to the Knicks than what Phil Jackson brought.

Phil was lazy, and didn’t care at all about the team. Calipari, on the other hand, wants to win wherever he goes.

From the University of Massachusetts, all the way to Kentucky, Calipari just wants to win. He would do whatever it takes to make the New York Knicks into winners.

Players will want to play for him because he understands why guys are in the league. He knows they’re there to win, but more importantly make a living.

He’s been at the apex of college basketball, and in the deepest crater of the NBA. He understands all spectrums.

Calipari claims he never reached out to the Knicks, but if by some glimmer of hope he did, the New York Knicks could be winning sooner rather than later.
