RP Dellin Betances

6/8 SAVE OPP., 1.78 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, 25.1 IP, 47 K, 18 BB, 1.0 WAR

On June 21st, Betances had a minuscule 0.40 ERA. Over his last four outings, the three-time All-Star has seen his ERA jump up to 1.78.

While this is a rather sizable increase, Betances’ ERA is still one of the best in the league.

The Yankee setup man’s 16.7 K/9 is elite and when he is on, he’s unhittable.

Yankee fans may be frustrated with his recent performances. They are frustrated with New York’s bullpen as a whole.

However, Betances has been Joe Girardi’s most reliable reliever this season.

Betances’ stats this year are comparable with those of his past All-Star seasons. He has once again been one of the best relievers in baseball.

It’s not a lock, but Betances has a pretty good chance to represent the American League in Miami in a few weeks.
