Final Thoughts

The New York Yankees are on the cusp of being the best team in the MLB.

Yes, the Astros are unbelievable, but if a few of the above things can happen, the Yanks will rival Houston for the top.

The most important thing is the struggling of Masahiro Tanaka. He has to find a way to figure it out, and be the ace we all expect him to be.

I get New York is a bright-lights town with a lot of pressure, but he is here for a reason.

If he becomes the true number one guy on the staff, and the Yanks pair that with the success of the lineup and the future success of the bullpen, they are going to dominate their opponents.

The New York Yankees will hold on to the top spot through the mid-summer classic, but only time will tell if they can hold onto it until September.
