New York Giants superstar Odell Beckham Jr. enters this season with high expectations. His antics have put him even more in the spotlight.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is a wild card, and I’m not sure how much I love it anymore.

Beckham has always lived for the limelight, but now it’s getting old. Giants fans smite me, but this guy has to grow up.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Odell. He is talented, and he adds a layer to excitement that we haven’t seen in New York in a long time. It’s just that some of things he does are, quite honestly, stupid.

Being stupid in any situation is usually an option, but especially on the football field. He is a superstar, and officials will keep him under a microscope, but he almost makes it too easy.

He will go out there and make a great play, and two snaps later, he will do something that has Giants fans cringing.

It’s great to watch a master at his craft, but sometimes he can be a baby. I’m a die hard Giants fan, and I find myself sometimes on the fence with my opinion of Beckham.

I understand if I’m in the minority with my feeling on him, but the truth is, I want to see success without a question mark.

This year the Giants made the playoffs, and that was huge for Odell and his career. The only problem is that he was shut down, leaving people to question his superstardom.

Now I’m not one of those people, but I would love to see Odell go off in a big time situation. He has made the big plays, now it’s time for him to help win the big games. He’s a diva, but he is our diva. I just ask that with that title, he starts to add some hardware.
