Number One: New York Yankees (22-13)

Start spreading the news ladies and gents, the Yankees are number one again this week.

There’s no other way to describe what’s happening in the Bronx besides that it is fun to watch. The Yankees are in first place in the East, and this time last year, that didn’t seem feasible.

The Bronx Baby Bombers are the reason the Yanks are consistently a top team in the league, and

they just keep going.

From the pitching of Severino and Montgomery to the hitting of Judge and Sanchez, the Yankees aren’t ready to relinquish the top spot.

The Yankees are pushing into a new era of pinstripe baseball, and it is going to be fun to watch. They are just a team that emanates excitement, and has a never say die attitude.

The Bombers went 6-4 in their last ten, and had a rough series against the Astros, but they will look to bounce back this week.

They take the top spot this week with Baltimore knocking on the door, but for some reason with this Yankee team, I’m not worried about the pack behind them.
