Number Three: Boston Red Sox (19-18)

Remember when I talked about the whole “Mediocrity Land” thing? Look no further than the Boston Red Sox.

The Red Sox were poised to be the best team in the division, but clearly that has not been the case over the first few months of the season.

They have battled both pitching and hitting woes, and after going 4-6 in their last ten, they look ready to drop off.

I’ll be honest, I was half tempted to put them at fourth this week, but they still have a winning record. As much as I would love to disrespect Boston for this underwhelming start, they still deserve to be talked about with the top.

It must be really tough to be a Red Sox fan right now.

Knowing your team should be so good, and then underperforming, must be just the worst feeling in the world.

The Sox still have a shot to get better, but with the Jays surging, the four spot has their name written all over it.
