The New York Yankees will retire Derek Jeter’s number on Sunday. The former Yankee captain had some great moments in pinstripes. Take a look at our list of his best five.

The New York Yankees will pay homage to one of the best to dawn the pinstripes this Sunday.

Derek Jeter, the former Yankee captain, will have his famous number two retired by the Yankees. Throughout the late 90s and through the 2000s, Jeter provided Yankee fans with some unbelievable memories.

From the earliest part of his career, Jeter always had a flair for the dramatic. He would make the hard plays look easy, and make the big hits look routine.
