Pick No. 150: Jordan Leggett: TE: Clemson

The Jets were dead last in tight end production last season and the team desperately needed to address the position in the draft.

New York may have a steal here in the fifth round with Leggett, who has a great combination of size and speed. A receiving tight end, he could develop in the run blocking game but could be the opening day starter and a nice security blanket for whoever is the Jets quarterback.

With new offensive coordinator John Morton‘s system heavily relying on the tight end, Leggett could thrive in the new Jets offense. With seven touchdown catches for Clemson last season, Leggett has the upside to be a highly productive player in the NFL.

A great value pick and a possible day one starter on the third day of the draft makes this a great selection by the Jets.
