New York Mets Fall to Last Place in Week 4 NL East Power Rankings

After winning four straight games to close out the week, the Phillies were able to keep that hot streak going to start the final week of April. In a big series early in the season against the Marlins, the Phillies were able to win both games.
Jeremy Hellickson was able to improve to 4-0 on the season after a win against Miami. His 1.80 ERA is one of the best in baseball, and he is helping the Phillies perform well early in the season.
Riding a six-game winning streak, the Phillies headed to the West Coast for a weekend series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Even though the Phillies went out west with a winning record, they left one game under .500. The Dodgers were able to sweep the Phillies, as their offense and pitching struggled a bit.
Being close to .500 after one month of the season is certainly a good thing for the Phillies. However, they are going to be tested next week. They will continue their road trip against the Chicago Cubs to start the week. Following that series, they will then host the Washington Nationals over the week. A challenging week is coming for Philadelphia. Now, we will see what they are made of.
