Even though the Phillies went out west with a winning record, they left one game under .500. The Dodgers were able to sweep the Phillies, as their offense and pitching struggled a bit.
Being close to .500 after one month of the season is certainly a good thing for the Phillies. However, they are going to be tested next week. They will continue their road trip against the Chicago Cubs to start the week. Following that series, they will then host the Washington Nationals over the week.
