Tom Coughlin is in charge and making decisions early. With the fourth overall pick in the draft the Jacksonville Jaguars added to their group of offensive weapons.

The Jaguars selected Leonard Fournette, a running back out of LSU. The LSU graduate was widely received to be the best running back entering the draft and will provide an immediate boost to the Jaguar’s offense.

Although Fournette will join T.J. Yeldon and Chris Ivory in the backfield he will most likely start at some point in the season. If Blake Bortles can take a step forward in 2017 the Jaguars could have a top offense in the AFC.

Some analysts believed that the Jaguars could have taken a quarterback with their selection, but Coughlin and company look like they’re willing to give Bortles another season. There were a lot of talented defensive players on the board, but the Jaguars clearly liked Fournette quite a bit to take him 4th overall.
