B+. . CB. LSU. TRE'DAVIOUS WHITE

The Kansas City Chiefs traded the 27th overall pick in the draft to the Buffalo Bills. The Bills selected Tre’Davious White with the 27th overall pick, and it was a good selection.

White comes out of LSU as a team captain, and a four-year starter. He has spectacular speed, and is a very versatile athlete that is great at dropping into a zone, or picking up a man. He is a very solid pick for the Bills, and he will help address several defensive issues.

The Bills are heading into a new era after the firing of Rex Ryan, and they’re off to a good start after taking White. He is also a very talented punt and kick returner, and it will help the Bills tremendously to have such a solid athletes in several phases of the ball.

White has great closing speed, and he loves to play catch up. It’s tough to say how seamless his transition will be into the league, but the pick in-and-of-itself, is a good one for the Bills. It’s safe to say that they are taking the right steps in addressing their needs.

Franklin’s Pick Grade: B+
