B. . CB. Ravens. MARLON HUMPHREY

With the 16th overall pick, the Baltimore Ravens looked to improve their already talented defensive unit. Last season, the Ravens had one of the best defenses in the NFL, and that unit will be getting better with the addition of cornerback Marlon Humphrey.

As one of the top cornerbacks available, the Ravens got decent value taking Humphrey at this point in the draft. At Alabama, Humphrey was a lockdown cornerback for one of the best defenses in the country. He will be entering the NFL as a very good tackler and will excel if used in press coverage like in college.

Humphrey played just two seasons at Alabama, but he was able to do enough to prove himself worthy of being selected in the first round. In two seasons, Humphrey totaled five interceptions and 13 passes defended.

As a rookie, Humphrey will be joining a veteran defense that should help him grow as a player rather quickly. Even though cornerback was a huge need for the Ravens at this point, they are looking ahead to the future.

Baltimore has always been built on having a strong defense and Humphrey can help them by turning into a No.1 cornerback.
