New York Rangers vs Ottawa Senators: Six Players To Watch
The Rangers special teams were horrendous in Round One against the Canadiens. They didn’t score on the power play until the decisive Game Six; better late than never right? The person who scored that goal? Zuccarello.
It was one of two games that he scored in the series-clinching Game 6. Zuccarello was the Rangers leading scorer in the regular season with 59 points, scoring 15 goals with 44 assists. Against the Canadiens, the script was flipped a bit, as Zuccarello became a goal scorer.
Zuccarello was the second leading scorer for the Rangers in Round One, scoring three points. Uncharacteristically, all of the points came courtesy of goals scored. Zuccarello netted three goals but did not record an assist.
