Mika Zibanejad

The Rangers acquired Zibanejad from the Senators in an offseason trade. It was a good move for the Rangers, as Zibanejad had a strong season for them. An early season injury knocked him out of the lineup for multiple weeks, limiting him to 56 games. In those games he was still able to provide 37 points, scoring 14 goals with 23 assists.

He was able to carry that scoring prowess into the postseason. Zibanejad was the Rangers leading point man against the Canadiens. He tallied a team-high four points, scoring the game-winner in Game 5 and handing out three assists.

Zibanejad is just one of the many scoring options that the Rangers have at their disposal. He missed the first two games of the regular season against his old team but scored a goal in his return to Ottawa the final week of the season.

You can be sure that he will be motivated to play well against his old team again and help the Rangers advance into the conference finals.
