The New York Rangers start their second round series tonight against the Ottawa Senators. Here is all the information you’ll need to enjoy!

On Thursday, April 27th, the New York Rangers will be starting their second round series against the Ottawa Senators.

After a hard-fought six-game series against the Montreal Canadiens, the Rangers were able to advance into the second round. Coming into the playoffs, there was some concern about goalie Henrik Lundqvist. However, Lundqvist performed very well against the Canadians and was one of the main reasons why they were able to advance.

With Lundqvist playing well, the Rangers can defeat any team in the NHL. He has been able to bounce back from a poor regular season and is arguably the hottest goalie in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

For the Senators, they are also coming off of a six-game series, as they were able to defeat the Boston Bruins in the first round.

Due to the Rangers playing the Senators, it will also highlight the matchup of Derrick Brassard and Mika Zibanejad playing against their former teams. It was a big trade between these two playoff teams, and both sides have benefitted.
