For the past few years, there have been few better defenses in the NFL than the Seattle Seahawks. Behind the Legion of Boom, the Seahawks have been consistently good in the NFC and also were able to win a Super Bowl not too long ago.

However, in the salary cap age of the NFL, keeping a team together is a very difficult thing. In recent years, the Seahawks have had to cut costs in other areas to help pay for their stars on the defensive side of the ball, and also their quarterback, Russell Wilson.

With the 26th pick in the mock draft, the Seahawks will be taking a talented defensive lineman in Taco Charlton from Michigan. Over four seasons at Michigan, Charlton has improved drastically. After barely playing as a freshman, Charlton went on to have a great senior season.

Last season, Charlton totaled 13.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks. Pairing Charlton with Michael Bennett could be great for the Seahawks. Charlton might be overshadowed in this draft a bit because of the other great defensive ends that are coming out. However, he is a bonafide first round talent.

The Seahawks are still very much in the hunt for an NFC Title in 2017. While the offensive line is a need here, the Seahawks would be reaching with two of the top offensive linemen off the board already.
