Offensive Line. Alabama. Cam Robinson. 25. player. 10.

When this mock draft was conducted, there were strong indications that Tony Romo would be joining the Texans. But, he has since retired and is joining CBS as an analyst. That makes a quarterback is in play here. No matter who is under center for the Texans in 2017, they will need protection which is why Robinson is the pick.

Robinson could fill an immediate need for the Texans. They need help at both guard and right tackle. Robinson has the athleticism and length to succeed at tackle in the NFL but needs to improve his footwork. That could lead to beginning his career inside at guard, where he would look to be an upgrade over what the Texans currently have.

Robinson was durable at Alabama, appearing and starting in all 43 games with the Crimson Tide in his three-year career. He was lauded as a top pick since his freshman year, but never consistently showed that potential in games.

Robinson has the tools to put it all together and be that top player many projected him to be. But, he has some work to do to realize that potential. Could the Texans be the team to get it out of him?
