After addressing their secondary with the fifth pick in the mock draft, the Tennessee Titans will be using the 18th overall pick to help their offense. Last season, the Titans really showed a lot of improvement. Marcus Mariota took a nice step forward in his sophomore season, and the Titans had one of the best rushing offenses in the NFL.

With two good backs in DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry, the Titans will have a good running game once again in 2017. Now, the Titans must focus on getting some help for Mariota in the passing offense.

With the 18th overall pick, the Titans will be selecting wide receiver John Ross from Washington. Last season, Ross totaled 81 receptions, 1,150 receiving yards, and eight receiving touchdowns. In addition to being a factor in the passing offense, Ross also totaled 102 rushing yards on eight carries.

Ross showcased his blazing speed at the NFL Combine, and he is going to be a hassle to try and catch in the NFL. Adding Ross to the Titans’ offense will give them a nice weapon to help Mariota continue his development. Wide receiver is certainly a need for the Titans, and Ross is one of the best available in the draft.
