Yankee Debuts

The youth of the Yankees will be something to watch for all season, so of course, they are something to watch in the first series. The Yankees will showcase a few of their young studs this afternoon against the Rays.

Leading the way is catcher Gary Sanchez. He took the MLB by storm last season and continued his production in the spring. First baseman Greg Bird returns to the lineup this season after missing all of the last season with a shoulder injury. Aaron Judge will also get the starting nod in right field.

This is just the start of the youth movement for the Yankees. There are a number of other players that could make their debuts by the end of this season in both the lineup and on the mound. For now, we will have to enjoy the preview that Sanchez, Bird, and Judge will provide on an almost daily basis.

In addition you the youngsters, this will be the first time we see Matt Holliday in pinstripes as well.
