In the 2017 NCAA Tournament, there was some very good action in the Round of 64 in the East Region as March Madness begins. Led by the No.1 seed Villanova Wildcats, the East has some very talented teams.
It wasn’t a great first half for Villanova against Mount St. Mary’s, but they were able to have a strong second half and win by a comfortable score. In the always interesting 5/12 matchup, Virgina was able to get past UNC Wilmington to set up a second round game against the Florida Gators. Like Virginia, Florida had some issues in the first round, but they were able to handle their business in the second half.
One of the most interesting games of the first round was the 8/9 matchup between Wisconsin and Virginia Tech. Wisconsin was able to defeat them behind a big game from one of their stars. On the second day of the first round, Duke was able to advance rather easily behind a strong game from all of their key players.
