Antrel Rolle, Safety

Rolle was brought into New York after the Antonio Pierce era of the defense, and he absolutely took over as the new defensive centerpiece.

Rolle was one of the most emotional players the Giants ever had. He was a guy that left it all out there on the field, and he always played like he had something to prove. Rolle got cut by the Arizona Cardinals in 2010, and one day later he signed with the Giants.

In his tenure as the Giants safety, Rolle never missed a game due to injury, he led the team in tackles every year from 2011-13, and he helped take the Giants to a Super Bowl in 2011.

Rolle was a two-time Pro-Bowler and he was a team captain his last two years as a Giant. He was also a very versatile player. Rolle was capable of sliding into the slot and playing man corner, and he would drop and play the deep safety role.

In his five years as a Giant, Rolle amassed 381 tackles and had 14 interceptions. He is one of the most successful secondary players the Giants have ever had.
