Kareem McKenzie, Offensive Tackle

It is impossible to keep McKenzie off of this list. After a four-year stint with the Jets, McKenzie signed with the in 2005 and would spend the rest of his career with Big Blue.

The “Not so Jolly Giant” was one of the centerpieces of Giants offensive lines that dominated from 2006-2010. He was one of the best offensive tackles in football for years, and his success in unrivaled. Throughout his time with the Giants, McKenzie only missed seven games in seven years.

That’s a remarkable feat for any offensive lineman, but it’s even more impressive that McKenzie lined up across some of the best defensive ends in the game, including DeMarcus Ware.

Who could forget McKenzie lining up on the outside with a rubber pad on each elbow, and shutting down dominant edge rushers week in and week out? He is definitely one of the best and consistent offensive linemen the Giants have ever had, but falls short in one category.

McKenzie was on two Giants championship teams, but did not make a single Pro Bowl appearance in his entire career.

Pro Bowl appearances don’t mean everything, but in order to crack higher on this list, the big guy needed to do a little more.
