An underrated need for the Giants is wide receiver. People will see Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard and say the Giants are set. While those two players are undoubtedly talented and produce, the Giants need a third receiver for their offense to click.

The Giants essentially used a three-receiver set as their base offense last season. Without a fullback, the Giants used plenty of one-back sets with an extra wide receiver. If they are going to do that again, bringing in a viable third option is a must.

It was nice to see Victor Cruz return after missing almost two seasons, but he didn’t produce much. Roger Lewis Jr. and Tavarres King are better off as fourth and fifth receivers, while Dwayne Harris is a special teams ace, so the need is there.

In addition to the need for a third receiver, the Giants should be targeting bigger, possession type receivers. Marshall fits that bill. Marshall stand 6-feet-4 inches tall and would give Eli Manning a legitimate red zone target. Everyone remembers the magic Manning had with taller receivers in Amani Toomer and Plaxico Burress; Marshall would bring some of that back.

A big receiver should be what the Giants look to target. If Marshall goes elsewhere, the Giants reportedly have interest in Terrelle Pryor. Kenny Britt, Kamar Aiken, and Brandon LaFell would also be good additions.
