Martellus Bennett

Bring back the unicorn. He got a ring, he showed he is a top tight end in the league, and now it’s time for him to come home to New York.

Back when Bennett was with the Giants in 2012, he was one of the team’s top targets, but in classic Giants fashion they let a franchise tight end walk. Bennett has been a consistent player in the league and has avoided major injury which is key in the tight end position.

There’s been a longing for a tight end in the Giants’ offense ever since Bennett left to go to Chicago in 2013. The move back to New York would be an easy one for the 10th year tight end.

He has played with some of the better quarterbacks in the league and has even spent one year with Eli Manning. This move would be huge for the Giants if they could land Bennett.

Obviously, tight end is not the biggest position the Giants have to address this offseason, but if Bennett wants to come back, they should not turn away the chance to bring him back.
